What is JENI Systems?
JENI Systems is a software development company focused on creating practical, privacy-first computer maintenance tools that use each operating system’s own native capabilities—no gimmicks, subscriptions, or background data collection. Founded to give everyday users the same level of control and system integrity that IT professionals expect, JENI Systems builds software that is transparent, verifiable, and designed for long-term reliability. The company’s flagship products, JENI® for Windows and JENI® for Mac, automate deep system maintenance using only trusted, vendor-approved utilities from Microsoft and Apple.
Unlike many “cleaner” or “optimizer” programs, JENI Systems prioritizes security, honesty, and control over marketing tricks. Every product is fully self-contained, digitally signed, and safe to run offline, ensuring users never trade performance for privacy. The name JENI® stands for Joint Execution for Native Integrity—a reflection of the company’s core principle: helping computers run at their best by using the system’s own built-in tools, structured intelligently, and executed safely.
Can I use JENI® on both PC and Mac?
Yes. We offer both Windows and macOS versions of JENI®, each designed specifically for its platform. You simply purchase the version you need and run it on your compatible device.
Do I need to make an account to use JENI®?
No. There’s no account creation or extra login required. After purchase, you’ll receive your activation key by email, and you can use it immediately to unlock the software on your device.
How does the activation process work?
After checkout, you’ll receive a download link and your unique activation key. When you run JENI® for the first time, you’ll enter that key to activate. The license binds to your device’s hardware ID, ensuring your license is secure and valid for the lifespan of that computer.
Is my personal info safe with you?
Yes — your personal information is completely safe with JENI Systems. We follow strict data-protection practices designed to keep your information private, secure, and under your control. When you purchase or activate JENI®, we only collect the minimum information necessary to verify your license and provide support—typically your name, email, license key, and a one-way encrypted hardware ID. This data is encrypted both in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256) on our servers, which are hosted by SiteGround, a security-certified provider with advanced firewalls, malware scanning, and account isolation.
Our systems never store payment card details (these are handled securely by our payment processor), and we never sell, rent, or share customer information with anyone. Access to license and user data is strictly limited to authorized staff and only for legitimate support or verification purposes. JENI® itself does not collect, transmit, or sync personal data—everything it does stays local on your device. Both the Windows and macOS applications are digitally signed and verified, guaranteeing authenticity and integrity before installation. In short, your data is safe, encrypted, and used solely to provide secure licensing and support—nothing more.
Do I have to pay a subscription?
No. JENI® is sold as a one-time purchase. You pay $34.99 once, and your license is valid for the lifespan of your computer. No monthly fees, upsells, or recurring charges.
What does JENI® actually do?
JENI® performs a complete, system-level cleanup and repair using only the trusted maintenance tools already built into Windows and macOS. It doesn’t guess or “tune” blindly—it follows a structured, vendor-approved sequence to restore integrity, stability, and performance. On Windows, JENI® runs verified utilities like SFC, DISM, and CHKDSK to repair protected system files, clear temp folders, update logs, event logs, and crash dumps, reset DNS and firewall settings, and refresh corrupted caches such as icons, fonts, and Prefetch. On macOS, it removes system and user caches, rebuilds Spotlight and Launch Services, resets printing and audio subsystems, cleans up browser data from Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave, and securely wipes free space to protect privacy.
Every JENI® run generates a detailed HTML report showing exactly what was cleaned, fixed, or optimized—no hidden changes and no background processes. The program runs once, completes its tasks, and exits, leaving your system faster, cleaner, and more stable. By using the operating system’s own built-in maintenance frameworks, JENI® improves performance safely, extends hardware lifespan, and restores responsiveness without altering your registry, privacy settings, or personal data. It’s genuine, structured computer maintenance—done the right way.
Can I use JENI® if I’m not online?
Yes. Once your license is activated, JENI® works entirely offline. All cleanup and repair processes run locally on your machine. An internet connection is only needed for activation, updates, or support.
Who is JENI® for?
JENI® is for anyone who wants a faster, cleaner, and more reliable computer without dealing with technical guesswork or risky third-party utilities. It’s built for everyday users who simply want their Mac or PC to run like new again, as well as IT professionals and advanced users who appreciate that JENI® uses only native, vendor-approved tools from Apple and Microsoft. There’s no scripting, registry tweaking, or hidden automation; just safe, verifiable system maintenance handled in the proper order.
JENI® is ideal for home users, students, small business owners, and anyone who depends on their computer for work, gaming, or creative projects. It’s also valuable for technicians who want a consistent, one-click maintenance solution they can trust on client machines. Whether your system has slowed down, begun showing minor glitches, or you just want to keep it running at peak performance, JENI® provides professional-grade cleanup and repair in a single, secure, easy-to-use package.

Installation & Activation
General Q&A – Installation & Activation – Privacy – Technical – Support – Payment
How do I install JENI® on my computer?
After purchasing JENI®, you’ll receive a download link by email. Click the link, save the file to your computer, and run the program. Installation is quick, no complicated setup screens or technical configuration needed.
Do I have to be an admin to run JENI®?
Yes — JENI® requires administrative privileges to run correctly on both Windows and macOS. The maintenance tasks it performs, such as repairing system files, resetting core services, cleaning protected directories, and running built-in diagnostic utilities, all need elevated permissions that standard user accounts don’t have.
On Windows, JENI® automatically requests elevation through the standard User Account Control (UAC) prompt when you launch it. Once approved, it runs its maintenance operations under administrative rights and then closes cleanly, leaving no background services behind.
On macOS, JENI® prompts for your administrator password the first time it runs a task that requires elevated access. This is handled through Apple’s native Authorization Services, not any custom or hidden process. Your credentials are verified locally by macOS and are never sent to JENI Systems or any external server. After the session ends, the privilege is released.
In short, yes — you must be an admin to run JENI®, but the process is standard, transparent, and handled securely by the operating system itself.
What if my antivirus warns me about JENI®?
Some antivirus programs may flag any software that requests administrator rights or modifies system settings. JENI® is safe, digitally clean, and contains no malicious code. If you receive a warning, choose to allow or whitelist the program.
I lost my download email or my key. What now?
Contact us with the email address you used at checkout. We’ll resend your download link and activation key, provided the license is still valid for the same hardware ID. If you’re switching to a new computer or adding another device, you’ll need to purchase an additional license.
How do I activate my copy?
When you run JENI® for the first time, you’ll be prompted to enter your activation key. Copy and paste it from your email, click “Activate,” and the license will bind to your device’s hardware ID. After that, you’re ready to use JENI®.
Can I move JENI® to a new computer later?
No. Each license is locked to one computer for its lifespan. If you replace your computer or wish to use JENI® on a second system, you’ll need to purchase a separate license.
Do I need to be online to activate JENI®?
Yes—an internet connection is required the first time you activate. Once activated, JENI® can be used entirely offline, with internet only needed for updates or reactivation after certain hardware changes.
My key isn’t working. What do I do?
Check for typos—characters like “O” and “0” or “1” and “I” can be mistaken. If the issue persists, contact us with your purchase details so we can assist.
Can I use the same activation key on both my PC and Mac?
No. A single license key is valid for one device. If you want JENI® on both a PC and a Mac, you’ll need to purchase a separate license for each.
How will installation work on Mac?
JENI® for Mac installs through a standard .pkg installer, just like most verified Mac applications. After purchase, you’ll download the official installer package from our secure website. The file is digitally signed and notarized by Apple, which means macOS automatically verifies its authenticity and confirms it hasn’t been altered or tampered with. You won’t need to adjust any Gatekeeper or privacy settings — the system recognizes JENI® as a trusted, verified developer app.
When you open the package, the guided installer walks you through each step. It places the JENI® application in your Applications folder and configures the correct permissions so it can safely run Apple-approved maintenance tools. The installer does not add background daemons, launch agents, or login items — nothing runs automatically or hides in the background. After installation, you simply open JENI® from Applications, run it whenever you choose, and your maintenance report is saved locally in Downloads/JENI Reports. To uninstall, just move JENI® from Applications to the Trash — no leftover files, services, or tracking components remain on your Mac.
Privacy
General Q&A – Installation & Activation – Privacy – Technical – Support – Payment
What personal info do you actually collect when I buy or use JENI®?
When you buy or activate JENI®, we collect and store only the minimal information needed to process your order, validate your license, and provide support. This includes:
Your name and email address – used to send your license key, receipts, and any support correspondence you request.
Your license key and purchase details – stored securely to verify ownership and activation status.
A one-way hardware ID hash – generated locally during activation to prevent unauthorized license sharing. This ID does not reveal your hardware specs or personal files; it’s a cryptographic fingerprint used only to confirm that the license is running on the intended device.
Error logs or diagnostic data (optional) – only if you manually send them to us for troubleshooting. JENI® never uploads logs automatically.
We do not collect your files, browsing data, location, or any usage information. JENI® does not track how or when you use the program. Payment information (such as your card number) is handled entirely by our secure payment processor and never touches our servers. All stored information is encrypted and retained only as long as needed to maintain your license and support record. We do not sell, rent, or share any personal information with third parties—ever.
Does JENI® ever track what I do on my computer?
No — JENI® never tracks, monitors, or records anything you do on your computer. The program does not log your activity, scan personal files, capture usage habits, or communicate any information about how you use your system. It runs only when you start it, performs maintenance using built-in Windows or macOS tools, and then exits completely. Nothing remains active in the background, and no data is collected before, during, or after a run.
All of JENI’s actions are transparent and user-initiated. Every cleanup, repair, or optimization step is logged locally into an HTML report stored in your Downloads\JENI Reports folder for your reference only. That report never leaves your device or gets uploaded anywhere. The program has no telemetry, analytics, or remote logging features of any kind. JENI® was built with strict privacy by design — it’s a one-click maintenance tool that cleans your system, not one that spies on it.
Is my personal info ever used for ads or marketing?
No. JENI Systems never uses, sells, or shares your personal information for advertising or marketing—period. Your email, license key, and hardware ID are used only for product activation, technical support, and legitimate communication directly related to your purchase. We do not participate in any data-sharing, affiliate, or analytics networks, and we do not allow third parties to access your information for ad targeting or remarketing.
Our website and applications contain no tracking pixels, ad scripts, or third-party analytics that monitor user behavior. Even basic web metrics are anonymized and aggregated through secure, privacy-compliant hosting on SiteGround. Every communication we send—such as order confirmations or license-related notices—is transactional, not promotional. You will never receive ads, upsells, or marketing emails from JENI® unless you explicitly subscribe to our newsletter, and that subscription can be canceled at any time. Your data stays private, encrypted, and used strictly for essential service functions—nothing else.
Who can actually see my data?
Only a small number of authorized JENI Systems team members have access to activation records. Access is limited and secure. No outside companies or contractors handle this information.
Does the program send anything to your servers when I run it?
No. When you run JENI®, nothing is sent to our servers—no logs, reports, or system data of any kind. The entire maintenance process happens locally on your computer using tools that are already built into Windows and macOS. Every command, scan, and cleanup task is executed by the system itself, and the resulting report is generated and saved directly to your Downloads folder for your eyes only. JENI® doesn’t track, transmit, or upload anything during or after operation.
The only time JENI® connects online is in two specific and transparent cases: during activation (to validate your license key once) and, if you choose, when checking for software updates. Those brief connections use encrypted HTTPS/TLS 1.3 channels through our SiteGround-hosted servers. No personal files, system metrics, or diagnostic details are ever sent—only the minimum data required to confirm your license and retrieve the latest program version. After that, JENI® operates completely offline. This design ensures your privacy, keeps your computer isolated from unnecessary background communication, and maintains total control in your hands.
What about the info I put in the contact or support forms?
If you contact us for help, we collect the details you provide—name, email, phone (optional), message, and any attachments—only for resolving your issue. This information stays in our secure support inbox.
Are you tracking me on your website?
We use Google Analytics to measure site traffic and page usage trends. This data is anonymous, aggregated, and not linked to individual users. We do not collect personally identifiable browsing data.
How do you keep my data safe?
Your privacy and security are at the core of JENI Systems’ operations. All license-related data—such as your email address, activation key, and hardware ID—is encrypted during transmission and stored securely using industry-standard encryption and authentication methods. We use TLS 1.3 encryption for all communication between your system and our servers, ensuring that your information cannot be intercepted or altered in transit. Our servers are hosted on SiteGround, a reputable, ISO 27001-certified provider that uses advanced web application firewalls (WAF), continuous malware scanning, and account isolation to protect data from unauthorized access. On the website side, WordPress is secured with hardened configurations, limited administrative access, multi-factor authentication, daily backups, and automatic security updates to patch vulnerabilities quickly.
Internally, we apply strict access controls—only a limited number of authorized personnel can view or manage license data, and even then, only when necessary to support a customer request. Data at rest is encrypted with AES-256, and no unencrypted personal information is stored on local systems or portable devices. We retain only the minimal data required to verify licenses and provide technical support; we never sell, rent, or share any information with third parties. Both JENI® for Windows and JENI® for Mac are digitally signed with an extended validation (EV) code-signing certificate, confirming their authenticity and integrity. This means the programs are verified as published by JENI Systems, LLC and cannot be altered without invalidating the signature. Together, these measures ensure that your data, license, and software remain protected from download to daily use.
What if I want my info deleted?
Simply send us a deletion request through our support page. We will remove your information from our systems promptly and confirm when it’s completed.
What about kids’ privacy?
JENI® is not designed for or marketed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect or store personal information from anyone in that age group. Our software does not include user accounts, online data tracking, or cloud-based services that gather personal data. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information or purchased JENI®, please contact us immediately. We will promptly investigate and delete any associated data or license information as required by applicable law.
We take privacy and data protection seriously for all users. JENI® operates entirely on the local device and never transmits files, logs, or user activity to our servers. This approach ensures compliance with child privacy laws such as COPPA in the U.S. and equivalent regulations internationally, while also protecting every user’s personal information regardless of age.
Technical
General Q&A – Installation & Activation – Privacy – Technical – Support – Payment
What operating systems does JENI® work with?
JENI® is designed for desktop and laptop Windows and macOS computers. It is not available for mobile devices, tablets, or Chromebooks.
Compatible macOS Versions:
JENI® for macOS is built using SwiftUI and modern Apple frameworks, so it only works on macOS 12.0 Monterey or newer. This includes Monterey, Ventura, and Sonoma. It will not run on Catalina, Mojave, High Sierra, or any older macOS version—those systems lack the required frameworks. If you’re not sure what version you have, click the Apple logo in the top-left corner of your screen and choose “About This Mac.” If your Mac is on Monterey or newer, you can install and run JENI® without extra setup.
Compatible Windows Versions:
JENI® for Windows requires .NET Framework 4.7.2 and runs on Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows 11. Most modern PCs already have .NET installed, so no extra setup is usually needed. It will not work on Windows XP, Vista, or the original Windows 8 because those versions lack the required system libraries. To check your Windows version, open Settings (Windows 10/11) or Control Panel → System (Windows 7/8.1). If you’re on a supported version, just download and run JENI™—no additional configuration needed.
Does JENI® need to be installed?
Yes. JENI® for Windows and JENI® for Mac install like normal desktop software so they can run the full set of native maintenance tools safely. The Windows installer is digitally signed and sets up the app, required files, and an entry in Apps & Features for clean removal. It includes the .NET 4.7.2 offline installer and will add it if your PC needs it. The installer does not add background services or startup tasks. After a run finishes, JENI® exits and leaves only your HTML report and logs in your Downloads\JENI Reports folder.
On macOS, JENI® installs as a standard app so it can call Apple-approved maintenance commands with the right permissions. It does not add login items or persistent daemons. You launch it when you want, it completes the tasks, writes the report to Downloads\JENI Reports, and then closes. Uninstalling is straightforward using the platform’s normal removal process. No telemetry is collected and nothing keeps running after the window closes.
Will JENI® mess with my files or programs?
No, JENI® never touches your personal files or installed programs. It works strictly within the safe boundaries of each operating system, using only trusted native maintenance tools built by Microsoft and Apple. On Windows, JENI® focuses on system directories such as temporary files, logs, caches, and diagnostic data, never documents, photos, or user folders. On macOS, it cleans caches, logs, and other system-level clutter but does not remove or modify application data, preferences, or libraries unrelated to system maintenance.
JENI® also runs read-only diagnostics before performing any changes to confirm that its maintenance targets are safe to clean. Every task is logged and visible in the HTML report so you always know what was done. It doesn’t uninstall software, delete personal content, or interfere with your workflow. Its entire design revolves around preserving the integrity of your files and programs while restoring the performance and stability of the operating system itself.
Can I run JENI® if my computer is offline?
Yes — JENI® runs perfectly fine without an internet connection. Both JENI® for Windows and JENI® for Mac are fully self-contained programs that use the maintenance tools already built into your operating system. No cloud access, logins, or server connections are required. Once the program is installed and activated, every repair, cleanup, and optimization task executes locally on your computer using native system utilities from Microsoft or Apple.
Even offline, JENI® performs its complete maintenance routine, generates the same detailed HTML report, and saves it to your device as usual. Internet access is only needed for optional features like update checks or license verification during the first activation. After that, JENI® operates entirely offline, ensuring privacy, reliability, and full functionality whether you’re connected or not.
Does JENI® leave anything running in the background?
No. JENI® does not install background services, daemons, launch agents, or auto-start entries. It runs only when you open it, completes its maintenance sequence, writes the HTML report and logs, and then exits. Nothing continues scanning, syncing, or “phoning home” after it closes, and no telemetry is collected. On Windows it creates no Scheduled Tasks unless you explicitly opt into a future scheduler, and on macOS it adds no persistent launchd items. This on-demand design preserves performance and protects privacy.
What kind of maintenance does JENI® actually do?
JENI® performs genuine system-level maintenance by using the same trusted tools and commands built into Windows and macOS—never risky registry edits or third-party scripts. On Windows, it automates SFC, DISM, and CHKDSK to verify and repair protected system files, clears Defender, update, and crash logs, resets DNS and firewall services, repairs icon and font cache corruption, and wipes temporary files and Prefetch data to reclaim drive space. On macOS, it safely removes cache and log files, clears browser traces from Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave, rebuilds Spotlight, Launch Services, and print subsystems, resets DNS and firewall settings, repairs audio and font caches, and securely wipes free space with randomized passes for privacy protection. Each run ends with a detailed HTML report showing every task completed and the total space recovered.
JENI® keeps systems fast, stable, and private without adding hidden services or background daemons. It runs only when launched, performs visible maintenance using vendor-approved commands from Apple and Microsoft, and then exits completely, no telemetry, no data collection, and no performance drain. By clearing redundant cache data, repairing damaged indexes, and restoring critical subsystems, JENI® prevents the slow boots, overheating, and random errors that accumulate over time. The result is a cleaner, faster, and longer-lasting computer maintained entirely with native system integrity.
Will JENI® work if I have other cleanup or security tools?
Yes. JENI® can be used alongside antivirus or other maintenance software. For best results, run one cleanup tool at a time to avoid overlapping changes.
Can I see what JENI® did after it runs?
Yes. JENI® generates a completion report showing what was cleaned, repaired, or skipped, along with any errors or issues it found. Your report files are save to a timestamped folder to your DOWNLOADS.
What if a repair fails or JENI® can’t fix my problem?
If a repair cannot be completed such as when there is deeper system damage, JENI® will note it in the report. You can then contact support for troubleshooting help.
Is there a way to schedule JENI® to run automatically?
Not yet—by design. Many “run-on-startup” tools install background services, slow boot time, and can quietly phone home, which isn’t great for performance or privacy. JENI® runs only when you launch it so you stay in control of what runs and when, and your maintenance steps are visible end-to-end. Nothing operates in the background and no data is sent off your device. An optional, opt-in scheduler is planned for a future release and will prioritize user control, idle-time execution, and privacy-safe operation.

If you hit an activation or compatibility issue on a supported system, we work it first and refund when we cannot resolve it. We also honor refunds for duplicate purchases and mistaken multiple charges, and where law requires it. JENI® uses native Windows and macOS tools with vendor-approved commands, so maintenance stays within each OS’s safety rails. Nothing runs in the background and no personal data leaves your device. The integrity of your computer performance is our primary concern.
