  • Download Won’t Start or Shows a Warning

Browsers and antivirus tools can be overly cautious. If prompted, click Keep or Allow, or try another browser. Temporarily pause antivirus if needed.

  • Program Won’t Open on Windows

Windows SmartScreen may block unfamiliar apps. Click More info → Run anyway, or right-click and choose Run as Administrator.

  • “App Can’t Be Opened” on Mac

macOS Gatekeeper blocks unidentified apps. Go to System Settings → “Privacy & Security”, click “Open Anyway”, and it will run normally afterward.

  • Where are the reports saved?

The Windows program saves your report files to C: > ProgramData > JENI > Reports. The Mac program saves your report files to your Downloads folder.

  • My activation failed

A VPN can sometimes get blocked by the server. Pause your VPN during activation and when you run JENI® to avoid activation and verification issues
